Deck in a Day is a free standing modular decking system, designed by IMPRESS DOORS & JOINERY as an easily installed deck system for Australian conditions. We use a steel frame with adjustable feet, pre-grooved timber decking and our own hidden fasteners. It is manufactured at our workshop and supplied in kit form. It is not attached to the house and is secured by four steel adjustable legs, held in place with our own unique anchoring bracket system. No need for stumps as the legs sit on a concrete paver. Quick and easy to install, the Deck In A Day system is available in various sizes up to a maximum size of 2.4 x 3.3 metres per module, giving up to 8.25 sq metres of decking area. It can easily be added to, creating a larger deck area, or even moved to accommodate a renovation.
We use a sub-frame made of galvanised steel. This gives it maximum strength and doesn't need to be sprayed for termites Standard height, 1 step or 2 steps. Each stump has 120 mm of adjustment to accommodate uneven ground.
We can design a system to suite your application and can even create a split level effect. Because it is free standing, it can be situated over an easement, subject to local by-laws. It comes supplied with everything you need to install, including grooved timber, screws, and Deck In A Day hidden fasteners. In the event that you need to extend your home, or remove your deck at the end of a lease, or for any reason, Deck In A Day can be easily dismantled and relocated.
Deck In A Day is engineered to comply with Australian Standards and Building Regulations. Have a look at our new product and see if Deck In A Day will suit your home.
